Professional Services

  • Orthopedics is a branch of medicine focused on the muscular and skeletal systems. Our specialists treat various types of conditions and injuries affecting muscles, bones, ligaments and tendons.

Physical therapy is truly essential to restoring patients’ activity, strength and motion right after injuries or surgery. Orthopedic patients typically have deficiencies and weaknesses, which could be minimized or totally mitigated to assure their functional recovery. Our specialists are highly trained in performing a comprehensive patient assessment and ultimately utilizing therapeutic modalities and techniques to make the recovery process faster and more efficient.

  • Yoga therapy includes a series of therapeutic exercises that are used to enhance the outcome of our patients’ recovery. In yoga, healing occurs through gentle movements and stretching. As a result, a gradual increase in mobility, flexibility, and strengthening is achieved.

  • At Tower PT and Restorative Wellness clinic we offer a therapeutic massage to complement other forms of manual therapy. This healing modality promotes tissue regeneration, reduces scar formations and post-operative adhesions. It helps to further reduce muscle stiffness and spasms. Through improved blood flow and circulation, therapeutic massage helps to additionally mobilize joints in patients with frozen shoulder or knee osteoarthritis.

  • Acupuncture literally means “needle piercing”, the practice of inserting very fine needles into the skin to stimulate specific anatomic points in the body (called acupoints or acupuncture points) for therapeutic purposes. The acupoints are stimulated to balance the movement of energy (qi) in the body to restore health. Acupuncture is well known to relieve pain and augment healing in patients recovering from joint replacement surgery, bone trauma, musculoskeletal injuries or degenerative joint diseases.

  • A holistic approach to nutrition honors the body’s innate intelligence and its ability to restore, regenerate, and correct itself. Our specialists provide patients with dietary guidance for the selection of nutrient-rich foods, maintaining a balanced digestion, and adequate hydration.

  • Complement your physical therapy treatment with one-on-one Pilates training. Pilates helps elongate and strengthen muscles, therefore improving muscle elasticity and joint mobility. With a proper balance in strength and mobility, these series of stretching exercises aim to balance and condition the entire human muscular system. Pilates has been shown to be safe for many patients attending physical therapy as many of the exercises can be performed in a controlled environment (i.e., reclining or sitting), most are low impact and require only partial weight bearing.
